"La Locanda" is a marvellous house,constructed very typically for the region of Sinis. It has got a garden, where you may relax and enjoy the wonderful view and overlooking the cathedral, the Stagno( with nearly 2000 hectares is one of the largest salt lakes of Europe) and the " Piazza dello Stagno", which forms the historical centre of the village and everyday life.
Our house offers you 3 large air-conditioned double rooms with Tv, every room is equiped with a separate bathroom with shower and toilet.
We are situated in Cabras( 9000 inhabitants), on the golf of Oristano, one of the most picturesque places located on the west coast of Sardinia. Here, the paths cross, which leads you to the most beautiful beaches of the island. The golf of Oristano borders on the Cap San Marco as well as on Cap Frasca.
Cabras is close tothe beaches "Is Arutas", the very well-known "Spiaggia dai Chicchi di Riso", "Is Arenas", one of the most famous beaches of the golf, and also "S' Archittu", with its basalt-shore presenting an ideal place for enthusiasts of impressive landscapes.
Cabras is a village with a rich and vast gastronomictradition, wich had been passed on from generation to generation.
Furthermore, the village offers you a large diversity of sports events and cultural activities. For example you have the possibility to go for a surf trip, to dive, visit the isle by bike or to take a boat trip to the isle of Maldiventre, to have dinner in one of the typical restaurants of the region.
You could go for a ramble to the local historical sights as well- like Tharros, an antique-style roman-phoenician harbour construction, which is now situated under sea level; relics of the buildings and the thermal springs can be clearly recognized.
A very popular destination to go for a trip are also the salt lakes of Putzu Idu.
